More effects of feminism on my kid

My feminist side leads me to do dastardly things like name my kid's dolls and animals with total disregard of--or in deliberate contradiction of--traditional gender cues. For example, if the doll or animal is pink, it's supposed to be a girl, and if it's wearing blue, it should be a boy.

I named this doll of Otter's Lulu; Otter's current favorite doll is named Milo.

And it's not just me now. Otter named this cat Pepurr (after our vet's in-office cat); when I asked, he said Pepurr was a boy.

I have to say I find this pleasing.
